Chosen displays the moment a believer is claimed as God’s beloved. Reflected in her is Jesus, as she stands before him, face to face. As Christians, we remember the time when The Lord sought after us, claiming us as His own. But this story takes place before the creation of time. And although there was a date of salvation in this woman’s life, she was actually chosen by God and written in the Lamb’s book of life before her creation, when she existed as only an idea in the mind of God. He knew how many hairs would grow on her head and every thought she would have, and He loved her and said, this is very good. (Genesis 1:31).
